It is the responsibility of the Alpaca Owner to:
Feed, house and pasture properly, give appropriate preventative and supportive medications, maintain the health of alpacas to prevent illness;
Feed and wean offspring to assure the development of healthy, well-balanced animals;
Breed alpacas without known physical or behavioral problems for the betterment of the species;
Train and represent alpacas in keeping with their innate capabilities and nature;
Use, manage and raise alpacas in a manner which supports their well being and continues to make them a joy to own;
Be an Informed and Educated Owner;
Share Experience and Knowledge.
