It is hard to believe, we, Don & Catherine, have been raising alpacas for over 25 years now !  Things have changed over the years but there will most likely always be some alpacas grazing in our fields.

     Ten years ago, we made our decision to stop breeding our alpacas.  The market and demand for quality alpacas has changed.  

        The unfortunate fact is, too many people are only interested in 'pets' and do not take the time to learn how to care for them. And in the end, the alpaca is the one who suffers.  

         We continue to educate folks.  Whether people learn during a farm tour or simply from the website, alpacas are a great animal to be around with the added benefit of luxurious fiber !
